Jasmine lives in New York City and is employed in the emergency department of a Hospital. She and her husband both contracted COVID-19 in March, and while Jasmine recovered quickly, her husband Freddie became very ill and had to be hospitalized. Freddie was on ventilation for two months receiving treatment for covid. His stay was tumultuous, and much of the hospital staff did not think that he was likely to survive. Seemingly by a miracle he was able to be removed from ventilation over Memorial Day weekend, and began recovering first in a rehabilitation center and then at home.
