Genoveva works as the founder and director of the non-profit Cultiva la Salud, which works to promote health equity in the San Joaquin Valley of California. She works as a public health and policy advocate, utilizing her Master's degree in public health to serve disadvantaged communities in her area. Genoveva discusses the difficulties of non-profit work in the era of COVID-19, as well as the impact that members of her community have faced in light of the pandemic.
